About the position:

This is a role that combines technical expertise with customer management skills and requires close interaction with the customer in understanding requirements/use cases, scheduling, and proposing solutions. Professional Services Engineer is responsible for system implementation by developing, building pipelines (integrations) and providing product demos to our customers. This person needs an ability to share and communicate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear concise language that is the parlance of each group.

Requirements and Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ Years’ Experience with other integration technologies like SnapLogic, Informatica, MuleSoft, etc. and in-depth understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL
  • Hands on experience with REST architectures
  • Knowledge of SOAP/XML/JMS/JSON, basic level understanding of REST principles, and REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Deep understanding of HTTP protocols
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Must be a self-starter and extremely organized with your space and time.
  • Ability to juggle working independently and as part of a team.
  • Accurate and fast decision-making processes
  • Be able to quickly debug complex Snap issues and figure out the root cause of problems.
  • Cycle between projects in weeks rather than years – continually learning about new technology and products.

What you’ll do:

  • Configure the environment per the documented configuration requirements
  • Work closely with the customers to capture the requirements and provide the necessary architectural guidance
  • Develop, test and deliver integrations for customers to provide highly scalable and repeatable integrations
  • Perform deployments of the software to customer non-production and production environments
  • Understand and demonstrate all use cases to customer users
  • Perform unit and functional testing of new features and configuration
  • Triage and resolve implementation issues
  • Develop scripts and tools that improve team efficiency, implementation quality and consistency
  • Create knowledge-based articles and documentation to help partner and SnapLogic implementation team members
  • Identify business and technical issues throughout the project that could impact requirements, scope, or schedule and work with the project manager to identify potential solutions.
  • Assure successful and on-time delivery of the projects working closely with the customer and team members
  • Deliver Product trainings to the customers in person and via the internet, and contribute to the training material enhancements based on the new features that are released on the platform
